Nope. Set over set = Stack Busting Time

They could just as well have been playing 22, Q2, Q4, AQ. (believe me, I had the same hand except with 55 and was up against Q5, I was almoist sure he had QQ)

I just could not believe that he was slow playing Q's before the flop like that. Granted I didn't have a read on the guy, but I just could not put him on it. Even if I could I doubt I could have laid them down.

You pretty much lose your money there. The set is so valuable because it's hidden, so in order to lay it down you would have to know very well the other person. You would have to think that "they know I have a set and they think they can beat that".

Hey Twelver,

The more you play the more often this will happen. No easy way to get away from a set. The good thing is you usually win those when your opponent shows an over pair or 2 pair.

Good Luck
