I thought it was an interesting article. If people can't discuss the subject in a mature way, that's their problem (and, possibly, mine

I think it certainly draws to our attention the fact that it's very difficult to ascertain exactly what's happening on the ground in a war zone. Not because there's too little information, but because (if anything these days) there's too much of it, coming from different qualitative sources.
