Playing 16 tables 6max at FTP?

Postby cat923 » Thu Nov 22, 2007 11:12 pm

I play 100 NLHE 6 max on FTP. Sometimes I check out the players to see how many tables they play. I was at 2 tables at the same time tonight.

At one of the tables I found a player who was playing at 16 tables at once. At the other a player with a different player name was playing 14. There were no real delays or time outs with these players. They folded reraises and check raises of their continuation bets.

I sent emails to security at FTP regarding these players to check them out to see if they are bots. I did not hear back from them so I called it a night.

I have multitabled and know others who do so, but 14 and 16 tables of NLHE 6 max seems a little excessive.

I will take a vacation until I hear from FTP and play elsewhere.

All comments appreciated.

For a period of about a month I regularly played 12 tables of 200NL 6max and won over that time. I feel someone a bit faster/with a bit more work/experience could definitely play 14 or 16 tables at once.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

I play 12 when the games are good. If I had 2 monitors I could do 16 with little to no problem.

There was a dude on Stars that used to play over 20 tables of SnGs. I personally can play 8 tables of 5-max but I feel I give up too much doing that so I usually only play 6. I have 12 tabled SnGs.

this is not new...i play 8-10 tables on cake on two monitors so with resizeable tables 12+ would be a cake walk...no pun intended

I can and and have played 16 tables if they are resizable at both FTP and Stars. It isn't hard as long as you have dual monitors and experience. Maybe it was me :D I can assure you I am a full fledged bot, with a steel pair of nuts to boot.

The bots that have been found have all been limit bots. Good luck to anyone who thinks he can build a NL bot that is worth a damn.

Yeah, I can play 8-10 tables of PLO whilst watching the TV, and my only issue is the occasional "having 3 hands at once" syndrome and misclicks (I have a small-ish laptop with a small-ish screen, and so lots of overlap). You've got to think that someone 12 tabling NL has to be a bit exploitable though? I know that I don't play close to what I think is the *best* PLO game I could when I'm playing "properly", just what I think will give me the least hassle. I'm sure lots of people play a better game of multi-table ABC NLHE than I do, though.
