Havent played with villain before, he is 15 hands in, no good reads, but nothing out of the ordinary so far.

I hate seeing this flop 4 handed, but its been a fairly loose table. Im not sure what this small bet means here, but im thinking FD, TP, or set (this cant possibly be air, can it?)
I think i called because i wasnt really sure why he would make that bet.


Turn: ($18) (2 players)
SB bets $8, Hero raises to $28, SB raises to $47.95, Hero calls $15.70 (All-In).

Again, a smaller than half pot bet. A good player wouldnt bet a made flush (without the obv) or a set like this right? I have no reason to think he is a good player. I raised here because i thought i would be ahead a lot of the time and if i wasnt i had at least 9 outs.



Thoughts?

I don't understand the turn raise. If you are ahead a lot of the time on the turn then you are ahead almost always on the flop. Raise the flop >>>>>>>>>>raise the turn.

As played I would call turn and call any reasonable river bet.

Raise that flop 100% of the time. Make it 16. HU I'd make it 14, but add more because it's 4way. This small bet is usually a weaker ace, a draw, or some PP like 77/88 or even TT-JJ. You are ahead of 95% of the ranges that people lead that weak with.

As played, turn is so utterly standard...I'm all in here every time.

A good player wouldn't play the hand with a set/flush here.

You don't think he's a good player.

Therefore, you don't think he has a good hand?!?!!

No! Your logic should make you think he COULD have a big hand because you DON'T think he's a good player...bad players do stupid shit like bet a FD like this, so don't discount that. However, bad players also play AT this way, and you get all in because you like your hand against a bad player's range here...
