I had a great day yesterday untill I started playing my drinking game, the emire $1000 gaurentee 20+2 i talked about, which I took sixth in. Needless to say it was not the tourney that made my day suck. While I was in the tourney I was playing 3 50nl games and cleaning up. I made about $55 in an hour, so I decided to go test the waters in 100nl. Just one table for a few orbits. It is amazing what great cards can do to your cash when they are not hitting. I lost $93.75 in 18 hands. I first lost $20 following up a pfr with a pot sized bet only to get c/r, then on the very next hand I get KK in late position. I wanted to kill the guy that took my stack, I even thought about what I would do to him if it were a live game

.
Here is the hand. Im not posting because it was a bad beat. Im just posting it because it seems like no matter where you play you run into somone like this.

All the while I am telling myself he is either very good and made a boat and he is overbetting to **** me, or he is a complete fool and he was on a bluff. The screwball bet twice the pot on a paired board with a flush draw. Oh well, it's poker and that is part of the game. I just have to keep reminding myself that without players like this I would never make money.
After that $140 swing my bankroll has dropped to $1990.56. Only ten dollars, and that is why I love that late night mtt so much. It is almost guarenteed money, so no matter how drunk I am while playing it I can still make the money.
