T9o in the SB hits the nuts on turn

Postby Stoneburg » Sat Jun 25, 2005 3:43 pm

Loose prima table. I've got everyone covered. TolStoj is a shortstack with ~$8 and Garro has below the buy in, maybe ~$14. TolStoj is very tight and raraely raises preflop (vpip: 18, pfr 1.2), I have no read on Garro.

Against fewer players I would lead out here but not against 4 opponents, at least I get a nice price to draw. I have 6 nut outs 2 non-nut, I 1:7 pot odds, easy call.

I'm not slowplaying a straight with a flush draw on the board.

Stoneburg : Bets 1.80
gorro : Folds
TolStoj : Went all-in 6.25

TolStoj : Mucks cards

I try one of them blocking bets I hear so much about...

I may have overbet the turn there to chase off the flush chasers... I'd play it safe and fold here... $4.45 to win about $14 is OKAY odds, but he was playing it like he's chasing and he hit...
