I don't mind Hanks, he does decent movies.
Best of the best are def. Nicholson and Hopkins. I think Nicholson is the most varied actor out there, even more so than Depp. Hopkins performance in Silence of the Lambs was remarkable.
As far as the new guys I like Christian Bale a bunch and Ed Norton. Philip Seymour Hoffman is pretty badass, seems to really get into character. My mind is drawing a blank on anyone that has been missed as far a dramatic actors.
I watch a bunch of comedies so..
I like John Cusack in most of his movies although he kind of plays the same roles.
Bill Murray is great.
Im saying Kevin Costner as well, just because he is so good in Mr. Brooks. And I am a golfer so Tin Cup is heavenly.
Denzel Washington is good at what he does but IT IS EXACTLY THE SAME IN EVERY MOVIE. I think if you sat down and had lunch with him he would seem that way in real life. I don't even know if he really "acts" that much at all.
Can't stand Russell Crowe.
Samuel L. Jackson is the greatest of all time. He took on Snakes on a Plane. End of Story.
