Good bluff or To much risk

Postby Rhound50 » Sun Jun 26, 2005 2:01 pm

I told one person this story and they told me is was to risky another player I know thought it was beautifull, what do you guys think??

2/5 NL at the MGM 500 max
I get K10 in the BB, I check the flop is QJ10 two clubs, I have the K of clubs. I check CO bets $30, the rock behind me calls. Turn is an offsuit A. I now have the nuts, the Rock bets out $100 CO folds to me. I think about raising but I know this guy has the same str8 I do so we would just be chopping. River is a 10 non flush card. I push all in for $300 or so, the rock thinks about it and folds. I'm 99% sure he had the K also. Good bluff to to much risk for to little reward?

Good bluff since there is practically no risk and a big reward. Obviously everyone who has read SS2 will get a strong feeling of deja vu...
