They could be Americans. The only thing I have to go on, is the link I saved it from was some random forum my mate looks on, and one of the comments was "what a bunch of jackasses"

What's that thing on the table they are supposedly powering?
They might be American but here's why I'm guessing they're not: Americans that would own/use such a pool and would be dumb enough to do that don't drink 14 different imports...that table would be all Budweiser/Busch Nat. Light/etc. if they were American.
In any case...I say hoax.
