So I moved down and played 600 odd hands. Of course nothing changed for me, it's just cheaper to get 2 outered, twice more.

These were fun.

Ahh, good old cowboys, they've only got me stacked like, what, once tonight? What's another between friends...

Cool.

I may ask around the site, see if anyone has been two outered 3 times in 800 hands. Maybe I'll get a BTP car sticker or something. I won't ask Ice though. He'll probably tell me that people don't even understand what a car sticker is, anyway........

I'm totally over-rolled for this level but then 8 days ago I was totally overolled for $50NL.

Is it possible to lose 55 buy in's in a month?

I daren't play live cash games right now.

So, the Orlando project has gotten off to a flyer, at this rate I'll be asking the micro stakes players on here to explain the fundementals of 14/8/2 poker.

STOP THE PRESS. I HAD A WINNING SESSION.

___________________________________________________________________

Last night I played about 1k hands and lost 2 buy ins, which was a massive improvement on recent sessions. But what was important is that I felt a change in the wind. My graph looked less like the New York skyline and more like the skyline of a developing third world country. Could it be, that the worst downswong of my life was behind me? Did the poker gods feel that I'd been two outered enough and that 15 buy ins was enough punishment for being alive?

It would seem so.

I just finished up a 1300 hand session for 6 buy ins up, with a win rate of 23 ptbbs. Praise Allah.

I actually played really well, was totally on my A game, floated in the right spots, controlled my flop aggression, picked up uncontested pots and avoided head shaking beats, save for one or two.

This one was fun...

UTG ($8.07)
UTG+1 ($3.00)
CO ($21.16)
BTN ($16.02)

Pre-flop: ($0.3, 6 players) Hero is BB [Ah][Qs]
UTG calls $0.2, UTG+1 calls $0.2, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.2, 1 fold, Hero raises to $1.2, UTG calls $1, UTG+1 calls $1, BTN folds

Flop: [4s][2h][3c] ($3.9, 3 players)
Hero bets $3, UTG calls $3, 1 fold

Turn: [5d] ($9.9, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG goes all-in $3.87, Hero calls $3.87

River: [6h] ($17.64, 2 players)

Final Pot: $16.76
Hero shows: [Ah][Qs]
UTG shows: [As][7h]

UTG wins $16.76 ( won +$8.69 )
Hero lost -$8.07
UTG+1 lost -$1.20
BTN lost -$0.20

Lovely.

This guy ran at 90/50/7 over 30 hands and had two moves, limp/call preflop and shove flop. He'd done it 3, 4 maybe 8 times. I figured him for a pair, maybe a draw at best, so my overs and OESD was worth calling with.

But for the most part, I played superb poker, even if I do say so myself.

In other news, the ever willing NV dropped me another big slice of helpful advice and told me about a reload bonus at BetFred. See his journal for how it all went down but I got what I wanted in the end.

So I'll bite the bullet and leave the $400 I'm gonna deposit on BF there, as I desperately need to play the 50's to work off the $300 bonus I will get (75% of $400 man that's a sweet reload) as I only have like, a month to do it.

In other news, my finances will be in place by Thursday so I will be booking Orlando up next weekend. :D

Graph for the month still looks uber depressing but could I at last be moving in the right direction?

So, the good stuff continues to happen, another 1300 hands, a gnat's cock over 7 ptbb's for about 2 buy ins. Wow, that's 8 in a row now, lolswongs.

I actually don't feel like I'm running hot either, although I'm clearly running hotter than I was.

Someone help me understand this graph, am I reading this correctly and I'm running pretty low on flopped sets this month? Obv sample size too small and now, I'm not crying about it, just want to know if I'm reading this right, it's a new graph to me.
