I learned something this weekend. I've been playing very well lately until Saturday where I lost about 150BB on legitimate bad beats (my fav being losing KK to KQo where I reraised him 4X his bet twice in the hand only to have him go runner, runner flush even though he was off suit).

After almost destroying my girlfriends chair (where I was playing), I looked over my PT stats. I lost about 150 on legit bad beats and I was down about 150 for the session. However, I saw two hands in PT where I was pretty tilted (pushed TPTK too far and wouldn't fold heads up to a guy who flopped the flush). I lost about 150 on the tilts.

So... I didn't really have a losing session on the bad beats... it was the tilts after the bad beats. Outside of the tilts/bad beats I was playing well. This was tough to accept.

Weird how so many people here had a bad period. I also had some 2-3 weeks of bad beats, and I just tried to tighten up so I ended even. A bunch of hours of playing to stay even, that sucks...

I would have said that the poker sites are doing something so more draws hit, but after seeing some amazing outdraws playing live in Vegas over the week-end, I guess it happens.
