6 handed...38 effective stacks....I am middle position and have the 38 stack the others cover,

I have KKxx single suited

EP pot raises
I call,
SB calls

Flop....AK6

SB bets pot,
EP re-pots,
Me ???


I ended up pushing all in as I have seen too many idiots getting their money in with a poorer hand than my middle set...

SB showed AAxx for top set
EP had KQJT for a 9 card wrap draw


My question is should I be able to get away from Middle set in this situation? When these two guys got into a betting war, I was almost sure that one of them had to have AA...

EP ended up winning the hand when he spiked a T on the river...

Talk about being caught inbetween the 2 worst possible hands you'd face down on this flop btw. Crummy.

Mentally note: SB is playing too cautiously. (His best play was to repot preflop ... assuming him and EP weren't deep-stacked.) Adapt to his "waiting to hit a flop" and/or "trapping" tendencies (at least on this session) for later hands. You can essentially just dig away at his stack and fold when he counters.

i think this is an easy fold unless the pfr stupidly aggressive. second set is often not gonna be good or at least against a decent draw.

as far as pz saying sb is too cautious for not reraising preflop oop, i disagree. if he had position, i think i can see your case or if pfr was a maniac. either way, unless i'm raising with the drawy hand, i'd rather wait before I get too committed.

btw, reload to 50 before the start of the hand.

i think this more qualifies as aggressive, not loose. in position, i have no problem with a reraise, just not my style. oop, i'll want to take a flop.
