I'd bet because it looks a lot like he has something like AJ and doesn't like to fold.

Hand2.
I found his 4bet very peculiar TBH... I know this player and I know he doesn't 3bet almost at all, but raises a lot and calls raises a lot (reflected on his stats).. A couple of hands ago he lost an all in to the villain from my hand1. when he AK'd himself to death and villain had QTo that time.. lol.. I imagined he must be tilting a bit but nothing seriously since I know he isn't that bad after all... Turns out it was just another 50-50.. This one didn't go my way..

Both of the donks got sick of me raising their blinds. I think I had like 60% steal attempt... So, genius 3bets me finally and I presume he's full of crap.. But, he flops a set and I don't know that, right... I say, lemme float you and see what you'll do since I have a gutty and a BDFD so lets see.. and look at the turn miracle card... Now I have you I say, you little worm... I shove over his bet with the nuts... and once again, destiny kicks me in the nutters..

I felt that a raise before river would make him fold a worse hand so I let him bet it to river and only then I raised... That ok?

Hand 2.
This one is a major spew and the only real reason that I am down today... But I guess he kept hitting his hands.. I disrespect the guy a lot but he hasn't been around in a while and now since he's back I think he improved somewhat (ie. raises 88 PF and I think he raises more PF then his PFR stat say now) but still.. He raised my CB like 3 or 4 times so far and I went ballistic because something happened on the other table and I spewed a stack here like an idiot..

They hit, I didn't... I actually didn't play bad.. just ran AK into KK and AA a couple of times, dodged AA with KK once and ran into sets with all kind of crap, and also my sets ran into straights and flushes... Don't feel like talking about it... Only relevance is that 80% of the villains that have my money now are 30+VPIP and 9-PFR...

Sick of poker right now...

This is the last hand I played today, and I realize i played it cataclysmicly (sp?) .. But keep in mind that it was played after the following hands where some of them were spewy, but some of them are just idiotic and some are the flips where I lose 75% of them in big AI PF pots..

guy is a fish, and I am supposed to valuebet him 4 life... well.. guess what..

guy started 3betting me like crazy.. literally, whenever I raised from CO and BTN he 3bet.. I didn't have ANYTHING in the last couple of orbits to play back so I played back with this... and puf.. my bad..

I am not so sure he would call turn had he not picked up a second pair.. in that case, I could have had AK,AA for all he cared..

Gottcha... oh, wait, rly?

no 50-50 for you today..

Gottcha... oh, wait, rly? part II

i am an idiot.

i am an idiot.part 2 and it's not even close.

shove or somfin' says excession.. o rly?

very standard set over set..

when the pot is so inviting and there are no overcards... what bad can happen... everything, and I should have known it..

stick it in with AK PF part 2..or is it 3 ?

more overpair action.. lovely.. but THIS TIME against an UEBER fish... like 90% VPIP...

more AK action.. this time with NFD... ftw? lol

does this count as another flip gone wrong or not?

and one winnah .. this one could ev gone very wrong had I not told myself that I am sticking it in no matter what river card is... O RLY?.. ship it for a change..

Unless you're up against someone who will 4bet with <AK (as in AQ/AJ/AXs, or J9s), then fold to the 4bet.

Wiat...YOU 4 bet HIM!!! Well, once you do that you have to snap-call his shove...but, again, I'd like to know that villain is on the looser side with his 3bets in order to 4bet/call shove. I don't 4bet with AK as standard...I 3bet as standard, but if people 3bet me I need a read on the player to know if I'm gonna 4bet. If they have a high pfr (and one close to their VPIP...so like 24/20, then I'm gonna 4bet all day long...but a 16/12 or 19/11, forget it...).

Yesterday I watched a new Stox video from The Classroom series.. It was about bankroll management and Kelly Criterion. I think it was the best piece of work on bankroll management I've read or seen so far because it explains it all.. It also says how are Ledered and Ferguson wrong when they talk/write about bankrolls needed to a) multitable b) move up..

I looked at the formula for my bankroll and when to move up to NL200 again and I chose a bit more aggro comfort level because I've liked what I've seen at NL200 in my cca.16k hands so far. As I imagined I should have already played NL200 without being so heavily overrolled for NL100..

I ran ok today... how can I not love NL200 for this?

This one was very close and even though I expected a diamond to slap me in the face, I held..

And I cracked AA on NL100... finally with AK.. and against a total donk whom I knew I can minraise to get him to shove when on flop..

gogogo me..
