I saw There Will be Blood tonight... Not really based on anything except the fact everyone seems to think its gonna sweep the academys, and the fact that the fags on IMDB rate it as the second best movie ever ever ever, just under Godfather part I... Also, Daniel Day was tite in Gangs of NY, so i figgered mebbe he'd be tite again...

So Daniel Day was very tite in it, and the best actor nomination is not at all surprising... Movie itself was alright but kinda slow in some spots, and didnt seem to move that much story-line wise either... I mean ill be the first to appreciate a flick about how an alcoholic asshole fucks up his life, etc...but this one just didn't seem like it deserves to sweep the awards, let alone be in the same class as the godfather...The movie had a tiny bit of an indy feel to it though, so mebbe it went over my head, i dno...apparently im not the greatest movie critic since i actually didnt mind rocky MCXVIII or whathefuckever the last one was where sly was like 95 yrsold and they managed to use CGI to edit out his wheelchair and hide his colostomy bag...

Anyone else see this thing?
