Fair resolution?

Postby Triple B » Mon Feb 04, 2008 4:51 pm

I was playing Ongame (Hollywood poker) this afternoon and the servers went down while I was involved in a few hands. Support admitted the problem was on their end. The main one is as follows:

I have KK and am BTN.

$5/$10 No Limit Holdem
4 players
Converted at

Stacks:
CO ($1489.00)
BTN ($1247.05)
SB ($2749.05)
BB ($1123.00)

Pre-flop: ($15, 4 players)
CO bets $41, BTN bets $125, 2 folds, CO calls $84.

Flop: [6c][Jc][8d] ($265, 2 players)
CO checks, BTN bets $190, CO calls $190.

I disco'd between my flop bet and his call.

Turn: [7d] ($645, 2 players)
CO checks, BTN checks

here I would have bet obviously.

River: [9c] ($645, 2 players)
CO checks, BTN checks

Final Pot: $645
CO shows: [Th][Td]

CO wins $643 ( won $328 )
BTN lost -$315.00

So they are refunding me the $315 I put in the pot on this hand plus $40 I lost preflop in another hand at the same time. Do you consider this fair or should I get my equity in the pot on the turn, or is another resolution more fair?

I think it's fair.

I think you guys are right. I was just unsure what the industry standard was and whatnot.

I didn't really have a problem with their offer I was just curious what others thought.
