Lovely start to February..

Two big pots went my way... 2nd hand featured an extremely bad villain named Mary-something so I was sure that MHIG like 95% of the time .. Mojito is also bad enough that I can safely build pot with TP and ok kicker..srsly

1st.

2nd.

I had couple of pots where I lost 35BB, but no bigger losers then that today.. Actually, there were quite a few of 35BB losers but I am pretty satisfied with how the day ended and what happened at the tables..

I also have a new way of not going wild in my first 200 hands of the session as it seems my most volatile time-frame..

I've set up PAHUD that it shows the stats only from current sessions, so I need at least 30 hands on someone for that session for their stats to show up.. I am again making more notes because of that and there are players who's stats I don't really need to see since I know how they play.. This way, it helps me not get out of line and actually see how they're running/playing at each table and each session.. I think it's a big adjustment and might prove invaluable .. at least it will teach me more patience i think.

plz suggest a new journal title.tx

Postby RedBarracuda » Sat Feb 02, 2008 1:05 pm

As the new title says, plz suggest a new journal title for this journal.. I am really bored with the old one.. so I'd like a new one but have no ideas... shoot plz

I played a shortish session today since I was watching ManCity-Arsenal first and then Portsmouth-Chelsea.. I am gutted with the result of those two games..

I am very happy with how my month started though..

one table.. couple of hands so that you get a feel for it and understand while I played the important hand like I did.. EDIT: for some reason, pokerorg doesn't accept some hands that didnt go to showdown..

I was very active and he bought it..2 hands.. same villain...

I ran 28/26/3.1 for todays session.. I like to play like that and I was def. inspired by leatherass. However, I can see that it's very hard to keep that level of concentration for a long while so eventually I started tightening up as my session was drawing to a close..

"Don't Get Out of Line!" or
"I Have Tilt Completely Under Control"

A journal title and something to shoot for. :D

To lose one manager may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness

Dood, you should look at the remaining fixtures - both Arsenal and Man U have yet to play at the Bridge (where Chelsea haven't lost a League game in 4 years), while Arsenal also have to go to Old Trafford. Also the Chavs have been hardest hit by the African Cup, so I'd say it's very finely balanced atm and at 5-1 the Chavs are a very good price.

When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.

I think the future for Chelsea looks bright.. I'd only wish our youngsters like Sinclair or Sahar would get more chances to impress in the first team... I think it's a fairly big management mistake, and one that I hope will be sorted soon enough..

February is a dream coming true so far poker-wise.. I hope it continues this way.. I had a biggest winning session ever today.. +$1220 in 930 hands.. I am still running well behind on sets btw...

edit: I am running 22/19 this month over a bit less then 5k hands... Leatherass videos did wonders for my game I think.. and there's still plenty to come I hope..

Here's the song I used for the journal title..
