Played in Reno this week on a spur of the moment trip. Playing in a game, has only about $220 on the table(because keeping a little in my wallet for food and gas was important at this point).
One shortstack limper to Villain in MP. He has me covered. He beat me for my stack in the first pot I played that night, and hasn't looked back...he's up to $1K in front of him. Villain raises to $22.
I can tell you alot about the villain. He hasn't raised with AK, AQ, or SC's, mainly PP's 55+, so he's raised few times. He limps with alot of suited cards, connectors, other junk. He doesn't raise large without a decent PP. He raised $18 with KKx2, AA earlier. He thinks I am out to get him because I lost that first pot to him, and we've tangle a couple times after(him getting the better of me almost every time). He's pretty loose, and won't give up a big hand, is a payoff wizard.
I look down and see QQ in the SB. I decide to just call, to see if I can figure out exactly what he has before I commit my chips(hoping this is a spot I can get them all in against him). I also felt he might fold a lessor hand in this spot to my reraise(my image is TAG). The limper folds. The flop comes 722 w/ two hearts. I check and he bets $10. I have seen his earlier play, and this bet looks like he's trying to tempt me to make a move at the pot. At this point though, I think I have him beat, and he has pretty much no draw except maybe runrun hearts, which I don't have. I decide to call his bet. The turn is another deuce. I check again, and he fires $10 again. At this point I am pretty sure of three things: 1) he will call a push by me, and 2) he doesn't know what I have 3) he has 88-JJ most of the time here and to a lesser extent AA-KK, AK. I decided to call again, and push the river on a safe card.
Any flaws in my logic or play up to this point? Should I have gotten the money in earlier against him?
