I just happened to be browsing. I guss your aggression is higher because you may raise more than I do. I raise only 4.62%.

I guess I steal just a few more pots than you. Plus, I almost alway follow through with a continuation bet.

I'm a six-handed player so this might account for it
Flop Bet 22.58%
Flop Raise 4.81% :(

Preflop raise is only 5.9% though :( but I think that is a product of the game I'm playing right now. Preflop raising vs. limping and stealing a small pot looks more lucrative to me than raising and forcing a maybe better hand to fight over a pot. I almost always make a continuation bet though. I also play position as much as possible, so that might be the extra 3% I have on you.

I need to get my overall aggression number up probably with some preflop raising as with preflop numbers the total aggression factor is only .73. Again however, my table selection is generally trying to find high preflop callers and large pot averages. It means dragging big pots and odds to call usually. I also run into the calling station factor where betting less than top pair is a bad idea as underpairs are likely to call me down.

Edit as a side note:
I win about 42.78% of flops seen and 55% of showdowns.

Percentage bet on the flop is 23.58% (this is off only about 2K of hands mind)

My aggression though is only 4.68. I think this is just because I am loath to bet into large fields with moderate holdings like middle pair. I prefer to use position and bluff like a mad thing when late.

I'm raising 5.83%, winning when seeing flop 35.81% and winning showdowns 48.78%.

Still improvements to be made but its a work in progress.

over 41k hands at 2/4nl,, i bet the flop 21.96% of the time, though my aggression factor is only 3.61 on the flop (2.47 total). This also includes a few thousand hands at 6-max tables, as well as a *lot* of short handed play (i love playing the idiots heads up who buy in for $100. i have a great winning record against these putzs).

On my Last 21K hands I am betting the flop 18.57% of times. I play only full ring and that includes my first hands when I was in the transition between TPA to TAA, when I used to bet a lot less.

Those are full ring stats only.

OK, I dont like losing so we have new rules.

1) Short handed doesnt count.
2) Since I play very tight, a larger percentage of the total pots I play will be hands from the blinds as oppossed to hands I actually wanted to play, than someone who enteres a lot of pots and has more chances to legitimately bet the flop with or w/o having a real hand. Its very tough to bet the flop from the blind with nothing.

So, lets take out flop bet % and divide by out VIP%.

Mine is now 19.44% divided by 15.04 VIP which gives me a "flop bet to VIP ratio" of

1.29

Beat that you fools

Also, my flop "call" percentage is only 3.1% which is why my aggression is so high. I rarely call a flop bet.
In all seriousness, 19-20% flop bet % is VERY high. Check someother players in your database and you'll see.

Goal posts moving... okay.

Right, VP$IP is 15.78, bet the flop is 23.58.

23.58/15.78 = 1.49

My call % is 5.67 though I tend only to call when I am slowplaying or drawing to min bet or something. I think this is going to be slightly tainted each time. I am playing the $50NL at UB where a lot of pots are won on the flop so betting out is a high percentage play. I would adjust this for Party where I am playing next week. My sample is very low though I have always been a bettor.

I think my games are also going to be fought more over the flop. You need to drive people out far more by sticking chips in since the VP$IP per pot will be higher than at maybe $100NL or $200NL.

VP$IP = 18.7%
Aggression = 18.57.

I am beat but I think 0.9 is good. I think I check raise much and this is why my numbers are a little bit smaller than yours.

Ricardoon beat you again, Ice. :)

BTW, Ricardoon, Party tables are tigher than ever. I open PT and four tables sometimes even I am not playing there just to see some stats and happens that in NL$25 is kind of hard to find a table with VP$IP in excess of 30%. Dont know what it s wrong but it s like that. I have been observing this in the last three weeks or so.
