I watched it, which I don't normally do. It mostly went as expected. No Country got the kudos it deserved IMO.

Pretty meh overall. Highlights:

- Best actress acceptance speech was fun, she was so excited because I think she was a pretty big underdog to win.
- They let that original song co-winner come back on stage after they shafted her the first time by cutting the mike. She had a good speech.

There WIll Be Blood is next on the list of films to see.

I think NCFOM deserves it - it'll stand up well to repeated watching. It's far more than your average mafia-money-on-the-run movie.

Juno was good but there was no way in hell it was going to win best picture.

NCFOM was the best movie I saw this year. TWBB was good but not nearly as good IMO.

Michael Clayton was pretty good too, and Tilda Swinton was good in it. I think she deserved the award.
