Thanks very much for all the replies. I had been trying to fold to all-ins with just TPTK or an overpair as a general rule, because so many people love to push all-in with two pair or whatever. But I have been gunshy.

No more!!

Last night I have a similar hand except with AA: jack it up and get 3 callers again. This time I'm 3rd to act on the flop and it's the 2nd guy who goes all-in on a 442 flop. I had a pretty big stack, as did the guy on the button. I tried to convince myself I was beat but I flat called. The button thought and thought and thought and called also. Turn bricks off, I push the rest in, the button calls that too, and I basically triple up against 99 and AK. Sweetness!

I credit my call on the flop to reading what you guys said here about reasons to call. Thanks again.

I've learned not to be gunshy. But this time it biit me in the a$$.

Get AA in EP and raise itt up to 6x the BB. Get 3 callers: 2 blinds + LP. Flop is KTx. Check, check, I bet full pot. LP calls. SB check-raises all-in. BB calls all-in.

BB is a total muppet so I'm not particular worried about him. I think SB either has 2 pair or else is trying to bluff, and decide (hope) it's the former. So I push all-in as well. LP calls as well! All four of us all-in on a monster pot.

And as it turns out, I'm drawing almost completely dead. SB has KT for 2 pair, BB has KJ confirming he's a muppet, and LP has QJ for the OESD. So even if I catch an A for trips, I lose to the straight.

So yes, they're all calling 6x raises with just broadway cards. Love that looseness. Hate how it turned out though.

Ah well. Bye-bye buy-in. (Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, good bye.)
