That's a tough one. That river bet sure looks blockish to me or someone bluffing on a missed heart draw. This one I'd go on gut feel as it could go either way. I'm leaning towards a call.

I agree the turn bet looks like a blocking maybe KJ (hearts) or something like that. I think he missed his heart draw, but since you didn't raise him on the turn he feels like he can steal the pot.

I know I wouldn't put him on JJ. I could see AJ but I don't know why he would bet it out on the turn when you are being aggressive and, why not check and let you bet it for him.

My guess is something like A10, AQ, AK or a heart draw of some sort.

your post sounds like you called. I am too by-the-book for that call, I would have to fold it. He could easily have [Jh] or something like that.

I raise again on the turn. It puts him to the decison....instead of you having to make it on the river.

I tanked until the time almost ran out, then said "I can't believe I am calling this" and called.

I figured that me only calling that minibet on the turn must have signalled a lot of weakness, and that the river pairing the Jack must scare me. I was more concentrated on his hand than mine here to tell the truth.

It seemed unlikely that he had the Ace, or he would have re-raised the flop (since he's so aggressive). KK is out of the question because of the (lack of) preflop action. If he had JJ or AJ he would have re-raised the flop, same thing with a set. I really can't put him on a hand that beats mine here, except for a weak ace, and with a weak Ace, he wouldn't be betting the river like that I think.

Result:
I called, he showed 55[/b]
