I have no reads on anyone as I just jump on Poker Stars yesterday.

Hand #1
$25 NL table at Poker Stars
you are in MP2 with Ah Ad (and a $37 stack). You are first into the pot, you raise it up $1.25. Button calls (he has $10) and the BB calls (he has $8)

FLop comes 8 3 K rainbow. BB checks, you bet 3/4 of the pot. both the button and the BB call

Turns brings a Q (no flush possible)

BB checks to you, what do you do here? To me the Q isn't a great card but I may already be beat at this point with two callers and no straight or flush draws

This hand needs a little explaining. This was the 4th consecutive pocket pair I had (KK, JJ, 99) I played all for raises, and only had to show the JJ to win. So I look like a bully at this point

you have TT in on the button with a $30 stack. No limpers to you. You raise it up $1, the BB (who has $7 in front of him) re-raises you $4. Do you call?

I called only because I assumed he thought I was trying to steal (mistake?)

Flop comes 5 2 7 (two hearts), he pushes his last chips in, do you call?

Also what hands are you putting these guys on?

PokerStars must be WAY tougher than the sites I play at (at least in your mind) to be worried in either hand. I call #2 in a heartbeat. WIth such a short stack he'll make that play with any two big cards. Really, though, I push all-in on the flop: if he puts in $4 of his $7 preflop it's all going in. You might as well be the one to shove it in. Push or fold preflop.

Hand #1, they may have KQ KJ KT or even 98 T8 etc. Lotta calling stations around. The Q is ugly because now KQ beats you, but until they tell you otherwise I assume I'm ahead. Bet half pot on the turn.

JMHO. More humble than usual as Party smacked me around last night....

well that is just it, I don't know how touch Stars is, since I just jumped on there. I have been an Ultimate bet player for most of my online career and that site can be tough at times

In my limited experience, PokerStars is a whole lot tougher than Prima and Party given the same stakes games.

Or maybe I just never EVER got a hand there...

Both PS and UB are great sites for a LAG to play at.

That said I bet 1/2 -2/3 the pot on the first hand. No one has shown you they have more than AA and you should make them pay with anything other than KQ.

I would simply push preflop if I was playing hand #2. He's so short there is no way he's not getting the rest in on the flop no matter what. TT would be right at the bottom of my "this guy is short stacked and trying to double up" range. I would seriously consider dropping this preflop to the reraise though. He may be "short" but that bet seems real scared of seeing a flop with overs in it. Without a read I may lay it down, if I've seen him do this with AK, AQ, or smaller pairs I would put him in and let the cards fall.
