if you haven't been watching this, you should check it out.

first, it's like watching american history come alive. and by 'like' i mean 'is'...except i already used 'it's'. anyway, it's really cool to see dudes like washington, adams, tj, benny franklin all hanging out and talking revolutionary stuff.

second, you get to see someone get tarred and feathered.

third, 1780s kids are a trip. they do stuff like address john adams as 'father', curtsy to him, and back out of the room while facing him and bowing.

fourth, abigail adams.

fifth, after watching an episode, you'll want to go out and do stuff like write a constitution or fight for your independence.
