I am not taking sides and I am sure most of you here /especially the older lineup/ had considered things and thought them through before deciding on the course of action..

i honestly don't know what to think of this

bk has been posting a lot and helped a lot of players. I think his wrong advice in tough decisions was sometimes the reason why a clever player took his time, to explain in detail what the correct play would be, which i enjoyed a lot. If you are afraid someone get's coached by the wrong person, add a 'good coaches' sticky or smth with played hands, limits etc. it can't harm, can it?

Well if shobute was his best man, then srsly i can't believe bk would just for the fun of it do smth like that. Right? I mean, he must have been in problems himself, no? Maybe spent money thinking it was alright... i'm not saying that that would be fine (and after all, it's a pretty wild guess still). I mean he is calling one of his best friends an asshole, that wasn't spoken in clear mind state. I just think there is smth good in everybody :-) alright that's probably why i get fucked around by most people

tbh i dont know bk well, i know he seems sometimes a bit cold hearted and too self confident in some spots where he obv. was wrong... but i dont know him well, right... Maybe i'm just interpreting but i think poker and this forum meant a lot to him and he was really trying to help people. And he seems to be a person who is rather trying to hide his problems and weaknesses instead of talking, agreeing about it and trying to really improve. But if this kind of attitude changes and you guys add a sticky with coaches... well i think everybody deserves a second chance. But that's just my POV

btw if you add a sticky, even smallish coaches could get a chance... maybe someone even wants to be coached by someone with lack of skills like me for 25$ an hour and on 25nl :-)
Always bet on duke

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

Whatever reason the forum owner decided to base the banning on is ok by me. I don't know the details of the whole wedding/shobute situation and I don't want to know.

Obv the reason BK was banned was not because he was arrogant or flamingly overconfident. There are a lot of people on this site, including myself, that fall under that category that do not imo deserve to be banned. But fucking over other BTPers is bullshit. If Iceman believes he had a good reason to ban him, all the power to him. I trust his judgement.

CW, OTOH, was a complete disgrace. He constantly argued and belittled the best players on this site (GLR, Xas, BBB, etc.) told everyone he was the best player on here, constantly gave stupid idiotic advice that even a beginner like me could see through, and hijacked every NL thread he could just for a laugh. He did nothing but annoy the hell out of 99% of this community, and slow down what most of us consider to be a learning opportunity.

Good RIDDANCE to CW, bubye BK.
