Puerto Rico vacation help...

Postby MVPSPORTS » Fri Jul 15, 2005 9:01 pm

Okay... So my freakin 3 year anniversary with my girlfriend    ... Anyways, so my girlfriend was looking for somewhere "nice" for us to go, and, since I had such a good time in Costa Rica, she figured maybe we could go there  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x

So, suffice it to say that $60 hookers, bad poker, cheap beer, and $60 hookers aren't her cup of tea (Sorry I had to throw the hookers thing in there twice, but if you were there, you'd know why...)... I've been pushing her back and forth from whitewater rafting in Colorado to gambling in the Bahamas (she went for that for about 1/8 of a second)... I think we (read: she) finally settled on Puerto Rico, which is okay with me I guess cause there'll be hot girls to look at and it doesn't cost an arm and 5 legs (which is good cause I'm not blowing the doors off poker the last couple weeks)...

So, I think I'm pretty safe there, as there's a good mix of dumb beach crap for her to do, and canopy tours and cliff diving for me... Plus, there's always the hot girls...

I'm looking like a jackass for different places to stay in Puerto Rico, but can't seem to figure out one place from the other... It seems that every freakin street there is another city...

Anyways, that was a longwinded, boring, wordy way of asking has anyone on here ever been to Puerto Rico... And, if so, any advice on the best places to stay, go, beaches, stuff to do, etc...

Thanks in advance...

I've been there like 10 years ago and didn't enjoy myself because it was so hot and humid. We did drive up into the rainforest which is nice is you like that sort of thing. Otherwise, its just a few beaches and some shops as far as I could see.

There was a good restaurant called Tony Roma's (they have locations in the US) that you can try. If you like BBQ chicken, its really good. Other than that, can't help you. Sorry.
