That hand history didn't come out right at all. It doesn't show any of the betting that took place. When you used the hand converter did you select the livepokerforum format?

Once again I must thank the poker gods, and once again I am drunk. I had a bad day at 50nl, losing about $60, so I decided to play some 100nl. In 94 hands of drunken 100nl I lost $140. I played some of the worst poker of my life and by my negetive numbers you can probably tell. Then the poker gods told me to play in a 100+9 sng. And I did... And I won. Good times.

I am curently playing my drinking game. It's the $1000 guarentee, $20 buy in on empire, and I am just below the average seven to the money. Only 90 people entered tonight.

I will updat on my finish soon.

Today was a pretty bad day and I have decided once again to stop early. I was running break even for the first hour and getting bored. Then finally I get dealt 5[c] 6[c] in MP3. It was mini raised from UTG+2, two people call so do I, so does CO and Button. Flop comes k 5 6 two hearts. I bet the pot on the flop and the two behind me and the ugt2 call. The turn comes rags so I over bet the pot trying to take it down right there, I bet $25 into a $22 pot. The two behind me call and utg2 folds. River is a rag and i go all in for my remaining $14 and they both FOLDED. That is the most money I have ever made on two people chasing. They paid me off :D . I was happy.

4 or 5 hands later on another table I was dealt QQ and it was miniraised and reraised in front of me I call hoping to flop a set. Flop comes AKQ in that order. This was a scary flop and I should have folded, but I kept thinking these LAGs, one was a super LAG and the other only semi, had AQ and AK. I called a bet on the flop and pushed on the turn when the first to act bet half the pot and got called by the next guy. They both called and flipped over AA and KK. Set over set over set. It has been thousands upon thousands of hands since I have been set over setted. I keep kicking myself for pushing there because I knew I was beat. I had to convince myself to push and when I did I knew I was fucked.

Oh well only lost $26 on the hour of play.

Wow, that is amazing. What's even more amazing is the conversation we had about this last night and how we haven't been set over set in a long time. But two players with higher sets is just unreal. That should take care of the set over set thing for a few thousand more hands.

After having a shitty day yesterday, today was a nice change. I made about $40 in 50nl and entered the party $5 rebuy and addon. I went out in 9th place out of 1075 bringing in $257.

The end of that tourney is crazy. I was a little below aveage with 300k in chips and the blinds were 40,000-80,000. The only bets in the game were all in and I tried stealing the blinds with T 8 and got called by the BB who had AK. I did not improve and I was out.

Not a bad day though. It's still depressing going out 9th and getting $260, when if I had been more patient I could have made thousands. Maybe next time.

After playing a total of 32 hours last month, not including tourament play, this month has gotten off to a better start. I played two whole hours of ring games yesterday, 3 tableing on party, and managed an $80 proffit. My game was on, I was bluffing at the right times, I was making good value bets at the right times, and I just had some good luck. I was getting a pocket pair one out of 14 times, for a total of 21, and I flopped 4 sets and turned one. I made some good money on those hands.

I also played in the new Party shoot out thing. It was pretty cool, but like most of there tourneys the blinds get too high and half the time it feels like you are playing for your stack when in a hand. But, for the low cost and the short time you play, the money you could make caould be worth it.

I need to put in the hours this month. I'm doing very well in 50nl but I keep wasting my time in the big tournaments hoping for a big payday. The hours it takes just to make the money, half of the times only your buy in back, is just not worth my time anymore. I want to start playing four hours a day, seven days a week. That is it.

I think the main problem with me is that I prefer to do most of my playing in the evening. My girlfriend hates it when I play poker when I should be spending time with her. She knows I make money playing, but she does not seem to understand that for me to make money I need to put in the hours. So, everytime I sit down to play a nice evening session all I hear is bitch, bitch, bitch. You know, the sht like ,"You never spend any time with me." I hate it and it really fucks up my game so I tend not to play much after she gets home from work. Maybe I wil just start slipping some sleeping pills into a beverage for her. Any thoughts on my line of attack? What do you guys do with the significant others?

Today was a good day for the most part. When I woke up I played in a PS 20+2 sng and got first. Then I made the money in the PS 5+1 turbo, it was pretty much the buy in that I made. So I was playing some ring games and I made another 40ish. Took a break and came back about an hour later and was doing pretty well then I got my set beat by a higher set, then a maniac beat my two pair with a higher two pair. When I flopped the set I lost a buy in and I lost about 20 on the two pair.

I went on a streak of what seemed forever when I did not get set over setted once. Now in 82 pocket pairs its happened three times.

I am still up on the day so it's not too bad, just annoying. Here is the hand of the set over set. Does anyone think that I had a good enough reason to lay it down. I am thinking the answere is no way because I had the second nuts. And, if you are wondering why I just called the first bet on a semi coordinated board, it is because the guy that bet was a maniac. I really don't even need to tell you how much of a maniac he was as the hand does a great job for me.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed)

UTG+2 ($30.74)
Hero ($48.25)
MP2 ($55.47)
MP3 ($50.75)
CO ($55)
Button ($49.48)
SB ($57.30)
BB ($55.20)
UTG ($44.50)
UTG+1 ($55.15)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with [8s], [8c]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
2 folds, UTG+2 calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold, MP3 calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, Button raises to $2, SB (poster) calls $1.75, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, MP3 calls $1.50, CO folds.

Flop: ($11) [3h], [8h], [Ts] (5 players)
SB checks, UTG+2 bets $6, Hero calls $6, MP3 raises to $25, Button folds, SB folds, UTG+2 calls $19, Hero calls $40.25 (All-In), MP3 calls $23.75 (All-In), UTG+2 calls $3.74 (All-In).

Turn: ($134.74) [Ks] (3 players, 3 all-in)

River: ($134.74) [Qh] (3 players, 3 all-in)

Final Pot: $134.74

Results in white below:
UTG+2 has Tc Qs (two pair, queens and tens).
Hero has 8s 8c (three of a kind, eights).
MP3 has Td Th (three of a kind, tens).
Outcome: MP3 wins $134.74.

against a maniac, this is what you wait for so you can't give me a reason to fold that unless it was a live game and he turn his hand over.

Today sucked. I played two 20+2 sngs on stars and finished OTM in both. I went out in 9th on one of them when my aces got cracked. Then I played in the shoot out on PP and made it to the second round netting eight dollars.

Three sessions of 50nl. 20.25 loss on one. 66.75 loss on one, and a 7 dollar profit on another.

I am taking a few days off from poker most likely because my grandma is sick and in the hospital. I am going up to see her tonight and that is about a two and a half hour drive. I might be back tomorrow for some poker though. Well just see how everything turns out.
