How's your team going to do this season?

I was listening to the radio and Eric Casilias was talking about his NFL top five turnaround teams and top five step backwards teams. He predicted that the Cardnails have a shot at running away with the NFC west and that the Panthers will be back in the Super Bowl. He also doesn't expect the Steelers to have any sort of run like they did last year, and that the Vikings are not the "Super Bowl bound" team that so many experts are predicting.

What I want to know is how the fans think their teams are going to fair this year. College or pro is fine.

NFL Seahawks
I'm honestly not expecting much from the Hawks this year. They didn't upgrade at the reciever position, and the defense looks the same as last year. I'm guessing a 7-9 to 8-8 record. I expect the NFC west to be terrible this year giving the hawks a shot at the playoffs.

College Oregon Ducks
13-0 #1 in the nation.........actually I don't really know. I've heard they are predicted to to be 5th or 6th in the pac ten, but the radio guys out here seem to think they are going to be much better. Mabye an 8 or 9 win team. Again, they are a bunch of homers and are probably talking out of their asses. But they did recruit the number #1 ranked high school running back in Jonathon Stewart. He probably won't start this year, but I'm excited to watch him play. My completley uneducated guess on their record will be 7-5 and lose in some weak ass bowl game.

I'm a niners fan, we will be lucky to get 5 wins. First pick in back to back seasons seems like a likely posibility.

i'm a niners fan too and i actually have a bet with my housemate that niners will win less than 6 games this season. That's right, i'm betting that my team wins 5 or less games. I just hope alex smith is better than dorsey.

if the niners get the first pick again, they can't take another qb, they need to trade the pick because they need too much.

Ohio St.
If they can beat Texas early on they will have a decent shot at running the table. Iowa comes to Columbus this year and they don't have to play Purdue. It really depends how their running backs do this year. Their Defense will be a top 5 or 10 in the nation.

Rhound and Bri... $20 says that the horrible, God-awful Dolphins will win less than the mighty Niners....

At least we got the Canes....

Panther's fan, and I'll be changing my avatar as soon as the season starts, I think they're definitly a good candidate for the Playoffs, especially since they almost made it last season, despite half of their starters being injured. I think the only thing standing in there way to the playoffs is Vick, I'm praying he doesn't learn how to pass.

My other favorite team is the Giants, when I was living in NE I couldn't stand the Pat's, but since I couldn't watch many Panther's games I watched a lot of Giants, I believe they could make the playoffs as well this year if Manning steps up, they really should've made it last year, I think taking Warner off the starting squad was a huge mistake, he did make some mistakes, but the talent was there and the team was winning when he was playing.

Anyways, the good thing about football is that you never know what's going to happen, they always predict teams to win that fizzle and then some team comes out of nowhere to win the Super Bowl, I think I'll be happy no matter what as long as the Pat's don't win the Super Bowl...again.

MVP, are you a Dolphin's fan? I was wondering what their fans think about Ricky? Sure he screwed y'all last year, but he's still a great RB, are you happy to have him back, or pissed that they let him back in and took him back?

Rhound... you're on... Nick Saban or not... The Dolphins are gonna blow big hairy buffalo nuts...

Scarface.... All I can really say in respect to your question is.... FUCK Ricky... Fuck him right in the ear... We drafted a RB (Ronnie Brown) in the first round, and he's gonna be the starter... The only reason that pot smoker (and I'M a pot smoker) is around is because he was gettin sued to play, and had no choice... Also, I heard that the price of good weed has skyrocketed... :D

Hey, at least we have Dan Marino (who is also a big fucker) going into the Hall... Other than that, I don't see me having much to cheer about this year....

Go Heat...

The Steelers wont win 15 games this year (last year was the 1st time that ANY AFC team has won 15 games), but they will most certainly be one of the top AFC teams.

They have a QB with a little experiance under his belt now. Duce Staley will be healthy. The Bus may have a few more carries in him. They drafted a monster tight end in the 1st round who should take alot of pressure off of Roethlisberger. The defense that was #1 in the league last year returns all 16 starters.

Whats not to like? The only loss was Plaxico Burress who is the laziest WR in the league and they replaced him with Wilson from SF. That may or may not be an upgrade, but I dont think its a downgrade either.

I predict a 12-4 season and an easy division title. The Pats, Colts and Steelers should remain the top AFC teams. The Pats took a huge hit by losing their defensive leader though.

NFL Lions
Will continue to suck until we axe that queer-ass quarterback we seem so in love with. Once that's done, look for rapid improvement of the team. If it gets done early enough, a wildcard shot at the playoffs is possible.

NHL Red Wings
Lost McCarty, probably losing Shanahan, Yzerman is 40 with 2 bad knees and recent eye surgery, new coach. I love hockey but this season's going to be the ugly variety of the sport.

College University of Michigan
Will continue to play well, but slightly below the "best". Still fun to watch, especially vs. Ohio State.
