How's your team going to do this season?

Everything from "Whats the best place to get a sandwich at Bellagio?" to "Damn, Shana Hiatt is FINE!".

Pats fan. (A fan when they were 1-15, too, so bite me.)

Until they are knocked out of the playoffs, they are still the World Champions and the best team in the NFL. They'll win the East, easily, and if they have home field throughout, will be back in the Super Bowl. I expect a rematch and the same results.

They are going to miss Charlie Weiss more than Romeo Crennel. Eric Mangini will be an NFL head coach in five years. The offense is very veteran and should maintain the scheme. Until he proves otherwise, I think Belichek will be fine calling the plays. (He doesn't appear to be so ego-driven that if he didn't think he could do a good job, he'd still do it.) This will be the year that Belichek proveshe is the best ever. <not said as a fan, but he's won me over. Until now, I've considered Tom Landry to be the best ever, because of his genius at BOTH offense and defense.>

They will miss Tedy in the middle, but not as much as people think. This is a damn good defense, still.

Who's going to beat them?

Steelers--coach hasn't shown he can win the big one.

Jets--bad coaching

Colts--bad defense, too many "stars" with no supporting cast

The Field--no one I see who can catch the also-rans. Too many teams had way above avg years last year, including Pittsburg and San Diego. Expect them to fall back.

New England is the gold standard of the NFL, well ahead of all the rest. They also have a mystique going for them. Until someone comes along and soundly beats them, the other teams will continue to believe the Pats will find a way to win. Eventually, all things come to an end and the Patriots run will end, too. Just not this year.

It's good to be the King.

I'm a born and raised Giants fan and am not too sure what to think about this year.

- If Manning has guys that know to look for the ball and can catch it I think he'll do ok. Last year I know of at least 2 times that he hit guys in perfect stride and they weren't even looking for the pass (Amani Toomer had one hit him right in the side of the helmet once, it was really funny).
- Tiki Barber needs to have another monster season and stay healthy again, which won't be easy for a back his size. I love the guy, but a zillion carries and catches is gonna take it's toll.
- If Coughlin realizes that he's got a pass catching monster in Shockey, and not a blocking TE than can also catch like Bavaro was it will help a lot. Last year he kept what was arguably his best receiver in to block way too much. Sure, he'll drop a few balls like all tight ends do, but the guy is a stud unlike any other on the team (including Plexiglass).
- Burress is a tool.
- The defense is going to be about the same, they won't win too many games on their own, but they shouldn't lose too many either. I figure they will average giving up 17 or so per game. Strahan needs to step up, but he ain't getting any younger.

I would not mind seeing them go 6-10, as long as it gets Ernie Accorsi fired. They guy sucks, he's the reason they had no offensive line 2 years ago and he gave up way way too much for Manning. He also highly over paid Burress. On top of that he has the world's worst toupee.

Packers - 9-7 or 8-8. Minnesota won't melt down this year and the Lions will get it together as well. 2nd or 3rd in the division, out of the playoffs.

Javon Walker's agent (also T. Owens' agent) is an a$$hole and should be banned from the game.
