The Dude: Employed?
The Big Lebowski: You don't go out looking for a job dressed like that? On a weekday?

its a cartoon show we have in the US. He is just obsessed with them. I mean do you even know what my avatar is from or do they just show 24 hours of cricket, Mr. Bean and Are you being served? Besides, Chef! is my one of my favorites.

Johnny, sorry for the hijack. Besides, I don't know Ungar that well, just what I hear and he would seem to be one of the greatest poker players of all time but if you want to evaluate it by whole lifestyle and management, i agree that he isn't near the top because of the drugs and lack of money management.

Hijacks are what this forum (Anything Goes, not BTP) is all about I think.... And yeah, we do have cartoons here  You're the dog from Family Guy, right?

I think it's really funny that loads of old crap Brit sitcoms are quite popular in the US; I've heard lots of people say they like Chef! over there; it wasn't that popular in the UK, think they only did one series or maybe two, though Lenny Henry is one of the biggest comedians over here. Are You Being Served and all those old ones are still on here occasionally, crap though they are

Thanks to Johnny for the original post. It does make you think. I'm very, very glad to have been born a non-gambler -- and to live in a time and place where I can make money playing poker anyway!

And thanks to one and all for the entertaining thread hijack, as usual.

I bought the first two seasons of Family guy on DVD and am watching them in order. Tons o'fun.

Great moments:

"Diamonds ... she'll pretty much have to."

And: making fun of Tim Allen's drug problems by ripping off the typical Home Improvement transition shots. A brilliant 1/2 second of comedy that takes about two minutes to explain. Priceless.

Hey Brian, did you ever get a real job?
