Some mouthy players I've run into lately:
*Note - I never start a chat except to say nh or gg

--------------------------------

$5 SNG on stars, 6 Left, I have 88 semi-short stacked on BB, Villain raises my blind for the 3rd time in a row, folds to me so I push and he instantly calls, showing 44. Flop is KK4 Turn 7 River K, giving me the higher Full. He starts talking about Bad beats and how lucky I am, Riverstars, etc... I'm used to this, but then the entire table begins to chime in with him about how "unlucky" he was and how I should be out. So I point out that he had 2 outs when he called pre-flop but I had 4 after the flop. I go out three hands later with JJ vs. 9Ts to same player.

-----------------------------------

$5 SNG on Stars, 5 Left, short stack pushes all-in with his last 400 and a veerrry loose player flat-calls instantly, folds to me in the BB with JJ which I think are good at this point, I have about 50 chips less than the caller so I push-all in (1800) to drive him out and get heads up, he thinks until the time almost expires and then calls with his last 1200 with K2os. Short stack has A7, King on the flop and that's all she wrote, both I and the short stack are out. Another player at the table congratulates him on the "great call" and thanks him for "taking out the trash".

---------------------------------------------------

$5 SNG on Stars, 5 Left, blinds are 75/150. 2 callers to me in the SB (T1465) with [Kc][8c] so I complete and the BB checks. Flop is [Ks][Jc][Tc] and I lead out for a pot sized bet of 600, BB calls as does UTG, button (chip leader) raises all-in. Pot is now 3790 to me and I figure:

1. The only hand I am completely dead to is AQ clubs (well, not completely b/c I can still make the miricle Full), which is unlikely to push here (but may be in one of the caller's hands)
2. To any other Axs flush draw, I am slightly ahead because I have top pair.
3. To any other holding that already beats me, I am behind, but a) folding here leaves me with 790 in chips with blinds at 75/150 which is pretty much dead, and b) the pot odds are laying me almost 5 to 1, better than making the flush.
4. I am most likely dead if anyone else calls since I will most likely be behind and be drawing against the nut flush.

After weighing all these I decide to call, and the other 2 players fold behind me. Villain shows [Qc][9c] for the flopped straight with flush draw, turn is a club and I take the pot putting me over 5K. I am then informed by villain, first, that my call was "gay" to which another player types "very". Then, that I am a moron to put my entire tournament at risk on a flush draw and that the only way I could ever win this tournament is if he sits out for the rest of the game. I lose to him ITM 3 handed when I push with Queens and get called by his Kings.

-------------------------------------------

There's no point to me posting these, other than that I noticed a lot more people have been talking a lot more **** lately (even though I never say anything negative at a table). My feeling is this, if you're playing a $5 SNG, then you are either doing it for fun or to learn, as are most of the other players, don't ruin it.

I've only once folded b/c of what someone said in the chat box. I had AK and flopped K82 and bet out, player says "let's dance" and pushes all-in, I folded and he showed his trip 2's.

I only leave the chat on though so that I can respond to people who say nice hand or good game.

I've always said that arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics no matter who wins they're still retarded.

I wouldn't put much stock in anything anyone at the table has to say. Whenever I hear or see someone take a horrible beat, then comment about how dumb the other player is, I usually say something like, "Man, what you talking about? He played you like a fiddle" The less true it is the more entertaining it is forto watch the reaction. Every once in a while this even induces a tilt.
