Poker Riddle

will try to state this correctly...

What is the perfect flop, for the most unlikely made hand ON the flop? Another way,
if you see THIS flop, you'll think that a guy probably couldn't have a made hand, and it will be the best made hand ON the flop.

there! 8-)

Hold 23, flop = 233 for the then nut full house.

Springs to mind because I flopped this from the SB earlier this week, I was telling myself off when I called the half bet on the hope of flopping a straight and the KABBAM! any 2 cards can win.

nice hit Molina...but any pair plus another card on the board would violate the 2nd way i explained it...this hand i'm thinking of happened to me too yesterday...i ended up going all in and other guy called, and was surprised.

Monk is the closest so far...

again, i said "if you see THIS flop, you'll think that a guy probably couldn't have a made hand, and it will be the best made hand ON the flop"

getting closer...but the most you could have with that flop is a set...
another hint, when anyone sees this flop, they'll think no way could they have much, yet
Hero with this flop could shove all his chips with much safety, and likely get a call from someone...with better hand than a set...and no, the answer's not 237 hearts; 3 of the same suit would make bells go off for fear of a flush...opponent would have practically no fear of a made hand...another hint, course one would probably only be playing this hand if he were on the BB...or drunk.

good memory TW

Tightwad, with a 237 rainbow flop the guy could have a big wrap plus top pair with 7654, making a very strong hand. Do your homework first.

I had something like this about 8 months ago.

I had 53o and the flop was A24, turn was a queen, and the river was a 7.

Ended up busting the hell out of someone with a set of aces who limped in.

I only read the riddle once and the wording made my head hurt, so sorry if I missed something blatant and this would violate the rules.

I guess a flop like 222 or 333 against a high pair... or something? I really don't understand what you're asking too well.

Or maybe an unlikely straight flush like

KQs and 25s on the flop of As3s4s... or something.

Ichoi - good try...but they'd fear an Ace out there.

wolfish is close, and could be right i guess...but the made hand would be better than the set.
