This is a great story from Vegas. I was playing at the Wynn 1/3 nl with no max buy in. My first table was a fold fest so I asked for and recieved a table change. I move to new table and this is the second hand I play. Dumbass has a little over $1k in front of him with bills and chips. He makes a raise to $18 from the CO, the flop is 789 with two diamonds. It checks to him and he bets $30, player in front of him raises to $90. He calls, turn is the [Jd], raisor checks. Dumbass looks at the dealer and says "Does a flush beat straight?" The dealers says that he cant answer that in the middle of a hand, so the guys checks. The river is irrelavent, first player checks and the dumbass behind him checks and says I have a flush. He has [Ad] [3d]. He says "Do I win?" and the dealer pushs him the pot. Wow

well that was a horribly played hand. Could he have been acting at all? it would seem like no since he checked the river with the nuts.

Gotta love the idiots that have more money than they know what to do with.... I saw a guy once check behind the river w/ a straight flush, saying he was afraid someone had the Ace...

I'm gonna puke.

Woody Allen said, "Success is 85% showing up." The other 15% is just pure shit-house luck, I guess.

Hey, MVP, hope you're not hurt by Katerina. And please keep the bitch over there. We do NOT need her. :)

Best wishes,

CJ

Brian, I dont think the guy was acting, why would he check the nuts on the turn and river. The Wynn has no max buy and I was new to the table so I have no idea how he got all his money. At the other table the most anyone had was $500 so I bought in for $500, as soon as this happened another $500 came out of my pocket really quick. The second part of the story that really made me want to puke was that, one of the players at the table was making fun of him about it and he left like 15 min later, I wanted to punch the guy. Stupid Sammy Farha wanna be, of course I did take a nice chunk of his money flopping trip 7's with 78h after he limped in Mp with AA.
