Well, I have been reading (and really enjoying this site) for some time. I have learned a whole lot from this place. I have only made a few posts but I read the site regiously so I figured it was time to formally introduce myself. I used to read the other site that Ice posted on regularly before starting this place. IMO, this site is hands down best. I rarely read the other anymore....just too much 'other stuff' to filter through.

I have been playing for a few years now, started around the time of Moneymaker's poker explosion. I told myself I would put $50 into a site and play it until it was gone just for fun. At one point it was down to $4. I have since run that up to 4 digits playing small buying SNGs and $25/$50 NL full ring. I played limt holdem for about 4 months at the start of the year and did quite well at first, then started spinning my wheels and decided NL was way more stimulating and made the switch back.

I will start up a journal this weekend b/c I think it will be a good place to vent and/or boast and record my progress. I think it is a good way to learn from what other players experience (at least for me it is).

I may not post a whole lot but I will be reading daily. I feel odd commenting on hands or request for advice from those who play higher stakes....maybe best leave that to those who know the game better than I. I will probably be asking plenty of questions though. I hope that I can contribute and not just lurk around as I have been.

As it has been said before, "Are you still reading this?".

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
