Dunno what's the issue here.
First, are we expecting it to be as exciting as the final table of the WPT?
Think of the hours of play that are edited out. Watching people play poker has got to be as boring as sex with my ex-wife. ("Did I hurt you? I thought I felt you move.")
Second, why do we expect the pros to play differently? Do we think they have some secret that only they know? Sure, there are many roads that lead to Rome, but anyone who reaches these levels know every one of them.
Last, if they want to win, why wouldn't they play TA? Unless they are given money for promotional purposes with instructions to give it away like the Magic Money Man, they are better off playing the same way we play against maniacs. Wait until you have a hand, then break 'em.
I would hope that when you reach these exalted heights, you would know how to play Hold 'Em. You'd have an encyclopedic knowledge, you've have seen every play, and have very few leaks. And a very large bankroll and be comfortable playing it.
