Early stages of a $10 SNG, less than 10 hands in.

Seat 4: landries5 ($1,610 in chips)
Seat 7: PayMeDaMoney ($1,470 in chips)
Seat 9: chiefrocca44 ($2,735 in chips)

Blinds are $10/20

Seat 9 is BB. Seat 7 (me) is Button.

My cards [Qh]{Qs]

ANTES/BLINDS
Jay 44 posts blind ($10), chiefrocca44 posts blind ($20).

PRE-FLOP
Rosco82 folds, DERF21 folds, themasterxx2 calls $20, landries5 calls $20, xcon27 folds, G3t3RDon3 folds, PayMeDaMoney bets $150, Jay 44 folds, chiefrocca44 calls $130, themasterxx2 folds, landries5 calls $130.

I bet twice the size of the pot because I want to win this one without any callers, but that doesn't happen.

FLOP [Js][Ad][Qc]
chiefrocca44 checks, landries5 bets $225

My turn.....what do you do?

I'd push... if he's got AJ or AQ, he's most likely gonna call and you'll double up... If he has something less and folds, you still made a nice hit with a dangerous starting hand... If he has K10, play another SNG... :D I don't think he has the straight, as who would bet out that much with the flopped nuts...? For all he knows, you raised w/ pocket 10s and just crapped when you saw this flop...

It's good to see we all agree. There was no preflop re-raise so I know I'm not looking at AA. I doubt they are calling that much preflop w/ KTeither (but I'm probably wrong when you see what I end up against). I push all-in. BB folds and the other player calls.
Turn: [6h]
River: [9h]
Opponent turns over......[Ts][Jd]????

I end up going out in 5th place with AK in the SB when I raise all-in w/ only the BB left in the hand. He quickly calls w/ AA. It was the 2nd time he'd turned over Aces in less than 3 minutes.

Well, according to Sklansky, and the board, you made the right play by forcing him to make an incorrect decision.

As those french tool boxes say, c'est la vie.
