Well apparrently they won't pay for me to go help the people in New Orleans...

So I was begging my parents to give me a loan so I could go... they wouldn't do it but they said that would donate 2x as much as I did. So I've decided I'll be donating everything in my online bankroll on wednesday (right now it's only a measly 247 dollars, though, but oh well.)

So this week I'm going to be playing my tail off, so wish me luck!

Also, if anyone wants to donate a small (seriously, an absolute CAP at 50 bucks)) ammount to this cause, please PM me. I figure if I can get 500 (plus the 1k my parents would donate), I can really make a difference for someone over there. I'll post my daily results here, because it won't be worth making a journal for only 5 days.

It is wrong to ask us to send you money at this time. Especially to play poker with...and lose. The Red Cross is a great agency. You have conviinced me to make a small donation.

Floppy, bets of luck in your quest. I made a $500 donation to the red cross today, I have had a much better run of cards than I could have hoped for this summer so what the hell.

My request to you is please change the name of this post, calling it I hate the red Cross is not right. They are a great organiztion of mostly volumteers that put their lives at risk around the world for the sake of helping others.

Well, bad-ish news. I got stacked twice today (bad flushes), and decided to just take what I have in there and donate it. It's on it's way to the bank now, so hopefully it'll be in tome to help
