New PLO article on some post-flop ideas...

Postby Felonius_Monk » Sun Jan 09, 2005 8:52 am

Hi all

For any PLO players who liked my take on the starting hands, there's a new front page article on post-flop play, and more specifically when and why you should be betting/calling. It's by no means exhaustive but has some strategies on playing common PLO situations in most online games, an odds table showing approximate pot equities on the flop of a very common situation (top set vs a variety of drawing hands), and some miscellaneous information on when to play draws aggressively and passively. If there's any feedback I'd be delighted to hear what you think, or if there's any disagreements or additional points you think I should have mentioned.

Next up I'm going to work on something looking at some very SPECIFIC situations and post-flop plays suitable for the online environment. Hope somebody is getting some use out of these :).
