If there is another one, could we have it at a different site (as I am not registered for pokerstars), say pokerroom, or party, or full tilt or something?

bounty for jackass rhound

Postby mitcheze » Fri Sep 09, 2005 9:28 pm

$5 to anyone who knocks out this kaka player (rhound50). $10 if the money goes in with the worst of it (at least 2:1 dog). nothing better than a bad beat. :)

I'm offering a bounty on myself, with a couple of stipulations.

A) If you beat me via a bad beat of say, 2-1 dog and worse, I'll pay you $10, of which $5 should go to the Katrina fund.

B) If it's even money when you get me all in (ie. pocket 3s vs. AK), I'll pay that person $20, of which half should be going to the Katrina fund.

C) If you get it all in against me as a better than 2-1 favourite, I'll pay you $30, as long as you promise to donate half of it.

I realize I'd taken a lot of heat for some things I have said, this is the last time I'd like to speak on the issue, and I'd like to say that since I did at the beginning agree to the stipulations of the agreement then I really don't have a right to complain. I do however think that in the future, these kinds of agreements should be handled differently. I'm sorry for any trouble I may have caused.

See ya sunday!

Only 12 signed up so far - not bad, but 9 hours to go we need lots more!

Come on guys, 800 BTPers - we can surely get 30 for the charity tourney! I think it's going to be a good event

If you can't make it feel free to make a contribution to the fund (TrodExpress at Stars) anyhow!

We'll let you know the final charitable donation once the tourney's over - come on guys, get signed up!

I'm ditching work today for this worthy cause. I will happily donate all winnings back to charity, which I figure at somewhere around $200 now for all those I will knock out and winning the entire thing. Anyone who knocks me out, I promise I will not flame their asses off for at least, uh, three days, or maybe two, or...not right away.

Sign up, ya bums.

We've only got 17 registered so far...

For the record, if I happen to manage the dozens of consecutive suck-outs I'll need to win this thing, I'll be putting 100% of the winnings into my ARC September fund (10% of my winnings for September going to the Red Cross).

Come on guys, 18 so far - need at least 20 for Trodgers to match that amount with $200 of his own incredibly generous money! I was hoping for 30+ originally, feel free to twist the arms of any of your friends, family, or other acquaintances to play. They don't need to be BTP forum members currently; get any of your poker-playing friends involved! Even if you know someone who can't afford/won't pay the $10 charity contribution to play the tourney I'll stump up the 10 bucks for them, can't say fairer than that!

Good luck everybody! And thanks to everybody for their generous efforts and contributions so far, especially those who've paid over the odds for their entry and/or put up charity bounties for the event. Should be great!
