Glad to see you back at the tables. How 'bout posting your intersting hands?

It still boggles my mind that you are 8-tabling. The most I've played is 5 and that really gives me a headache to see all of the windows popping up every second. Also, I don't see how you can get any sort of reads on the players and make notes.

I 4-table $100 (just moved up to $200 last night when I saw you at Stars) and have been averaging $500/wk playing 3 hours/night. How much more do you think you can make by 8-tabling?

No interesting hands, but just had about the worst 1 1/2 hour session of my life. Scratch that, THE worst, with practicallly no warning - playing great this month, winning tons, i sit down tonight, f all action so i decided, instead of hitting the sack, to start some new tables on crypto 100 PLO and sit in the empire 200 PLO8 after i've been winning tons in the 100 lately. Well, of course, I should've known that empire would extract its usual pound of flesh after the upteenth time i *think* i've got it cracked and about $1k later i'm ready for bed. As usual lately, I can't even get that excited about the losses, perhaps a good thing, but really I don't think I did much wrong. One poor crying call at PLO, maybe a couple of loose-ish drawing hands in the PLO8 game. It's just so fucking annoying to have played great to build up from 600 to 2k in my (almost aborted) empire account for a load of it to disappear down the shitter in a little over an hour.

Oh well, rant over. I'm still having a good month, but, just like in June, it WAS a great month. Perhaps it'll follow June's example and precipitate a two-month streak of getting fucked up the arse. Oh joy.

i'm at about $2k for 15-odd hours in September, btw. It was nearly 3k this morning though.

sorry to hear about the 1-large anti-rush.

what are your thoughts on the differences in table selection at the $100 plo8 and $200 plo8 tables? mostly the same, or is the play conisistently tougher at the $200s?

Pretty much the same. I just play whatever game looks best; I'm well bankrolled for either and have been playing games of this size (and occasionally above) for pushing 2 years now. Still haven't made a move to 400+ regularly because there's not always games running that are half decent, and I've been hesitant to play games that high except on rare occasions when there's a great game running and I'm feeling confident.

Perhaps there's a few more weak-tight callers at PLO8 100, but in all honesty I think if you can beat one you can beat another.
