We lost our first game last night 19-6, but it was a bit closer than that. We got it to 12-6 at the end of the 3rd quarter, but then they returned the ensuing (man, I just love the word ensuing) kickoff on us. There was a big time hold on the kickoff that didn't get called, but I'm not complaining. They had 2 or 3 kids that were WAY faster than our fastest kid, so I'm kinda happy we held them to 2 TDs.

and you can see the play we scored on. Well, you can't see all of it because our fake was so good that the camera chick got fooled as well.
My son is the QB, #84. This was sort of a busted play, the right wingback was supposed to take an inside handoff but he went the wrong way. Not that I'm complaining of course. :D

We start early out here. We have had 2 wins in 2 games. We got a gift Sat afternoon. We were losing 8-0 w/ 20 secs left til half. Other team had ball at their own 35 yd line and the dumb*** other coach called a pass which we promptly intercepted and scored on the next play. Needless to say we gained the momentum and won 26-8. What a bone head call. I was on chain crew on thier sideline and rest of the coaching staff was pissed. Great play call on video. Good luck.

This week's clips:

We won 20-6. Great game, we forced 4 turnovers (actually 6 but we got hosed by some quick whistles). James (my son, #84) had 14 tackles and was like a caged dog (without the cage).

I think we need a new nickname for Derek. How about Great Wall?

Clip 2 - http://media.putfile.com/CBCounter9-18
If this counter ran any smoother we'd run into legal issues. Great kickout block by Chris, good cut by Connor.

Clip 3 - http://media.putfile.com/Avery45yardTD
We fumbled the exchange on the play before this (same one), but I saw a huge hole and ran it again. Avery makes me look smart.

Clip 4 - http://media.putfile.com/Jameskeeper
James is so fast even the camera chick can't keep up with him. Nifty moves, only a bad spot by the refs cost us the first down.

Clip 5 - http://media.putfile.com/mike-big-stop
Mike makes a nice tackle from corner.

Trevor shows how to run behind a wedge, great job by the line

James comes all the way over from ROLB to make the play, Derek turned it in but 4 guys whiffed.

The very next play, Tyler at DE does a much better job stringing it out.

Congrats. We won a dbl overtime thriller 22-16 after staking them to a 16 pt lead. This is most likely the best team we will see until the playoffs where we will see them again.

LOL, that was funny. Nice reverse, was it?

What age range is that league? They looked liked a Star Wars Clone Troopers Football Team. All miniature copies of each other.

Well cool.

We lost a heartbreaker, 13-6. Moved the ball well all game but got stopped in the redzone 3 times. We ran out of time on their 20 yard line after moving 40 yards in a minute and a half. 2 more plays and we could have scored. Oh well. :(
