Tetsuo--is there a way I can be banned from this particular topic? It makes me want to go buy one. Like a sweet siren song, it calls to me!

I just got a 2001FP, and I was/am planning on doing a review on it when I get back from a business trip.

THe short version... I love it. Affordable, BIG, easy to set up, easy to configure. Did I mention it was big (insert comment about that being exactly what MK said to TW here).

My only complaint is that the image sharpness (esp. along the edges) is not quite what I would like it to be. Specifically, some of the PAhud numbers are a little bit fuzzy. Keep in mind, though, that I am comparing the 2001FP to a razor-sharp 15" LCD in my ThinkPad. Reviews I have read basically said that this is part of the deal with these affordable models -- if the acuity is so important to you, then drop the $1500-$2000 that a top-end monitor costs.

I'm very happy with my purchase.

I just pulled the trigger. There is a $60 off coupon code now ( http://www.gotapex.com ), so with 3-5 day shipping you can get this for $464 + $3 + tax. This is a good deal.

I too pulled the trigger on the 2001FP yesterday, but I was not aware of the coupon . Luckily I slaughtered a $20/$40 game in the wee hours of the morning so it's quite alright

I have a 2001FP and in a word...awesome. I bought it a couple months back and it has been worth every penny. If you can't afford one, hit the bonus trail for a month or two and you are there.

xaston... why didn't you buy two?

i love to run of my laptop -- 4 tables playing on the 2001FP and 4 or 8 scouting (sometimes 8 scouting). It really helps me get good tables (or at least datamine).

Do you play more than 4 tables?
