I just wanted a decent blood and guts war movie...

Everything from "Whats the best place to get a sandwich at Bellagio?" to "Damn, Shana Hiatt is FINE!".

If you want a modern war epic, its hard to beat Band of Brothers. Of course, I'm biased as I'm a WWII nut.

Personally I though Band of Brothers was boring, overblown, and way too earnest. If it were an actor it would be Tom Hanks and I hate Tom Hanks as much as I hate The Shawshank Redemption.

I've probably deeply insulted everyone because (A) Tom Hanks is 70% of peoples favourite actor, the other 30% being De Niro, and (B) The Shawshank Redemption is in everyones of 5 film list.

But that aside, I do think The Insider is good, the second best Michael Mann film after Heat, which is my favourite film. Ali was okay, but Collateral was more an exercise in enduring a Tom Cruise film.

Wow, must be something personal, Molina. I just saw Terminal last night. If you can't admire Tom Hanks as an actor, I dunno how you can like anyone?

Philadephia. Forest Gump. Apollo 13. Saving Private Ryan. The Green Mile. Castaway. Can you imagine Al Pacino doing ANY of these? (or are these bad movies?) The only reason Hanks didn't win three, THREE, Oscars in a row was only because he'd won TWO in a row.

Al Pacino plays Al Pacino. He does one thing...loudly. John Wayne played John Wayne.

De Niro? Saying De Niro's overrated is  .
