I went and saw the movie "Lord of War" last night with Nicholas Cage starring. Very good movie and quite thought provoking.

At the end of the movie it states that it was based on actual events. I would like to know if anyone knows the real life name of Nicholas Cage's character. I think it would be interesting to go to the library and look through the newspapers from the early 90's to read about the "actual events". I guess I always knew in the back of my mind the truth about gun running and the part it plays in world wide events, but until I saw that movie I hadn't really thought much about it. Today, I couldn't think of much else.

The imdb trivia for the movie says it was based on 5 different people. Doesn't say who though.

I just saw it. I was definitely entertained. I would recommend seeing it too.
