I just wanted a decent blood and guts war movie...

Everything from "Whats the best place to get a sandwich at Bellagio?" to "Damn, Shana Hiatt is FINE!".

I'll go along with that... While it's not as good as the Sopranos when it's hitting on all cylinders, or Entourage, which is just fabulously filled with hot ass boobs... It's somewhere in the middle, and WAAAAAAAAY better than Six Feet Under and the homosexually charged Oz... I would put it in a class with Carnivale with nicer lookin tits... :D

I'll have you know I like the "homosexually charged Oz". Which, no doubt, is liable to precipitate a ton of piss-taking cockrags like MVP calling me a limp-wristed lime or something. Oh well, I'm used to it.

Monk... I actually liked Oz for about the first 3 seasons or so... I lloved the storylines, like Adabese (I'm SURE I spelled that wrong) and the mulsim leader guy and Beecher and Vern killing each others kids... That was cool.... Then one day, it's like they ran out of ideas... It just descended into ridiculous stories, like the guy who tried to dig his way out... and they started putting on plays... and then, just to throw in a little spice, they would show guys making out or one of them sticking a spoon up the other one's butt... Not sure if this was out of design (like "hell, we've shown all the guts and gore of prison, let's show some of the 'love'") or if they just ran out of good stories and started pulling whatever they could find out of their asses...

If I want a good prison movie now, I'll stick to Shawshank or that goofy one with Clint Eastwood where he escapes (which I know is basically the same movie, but Clint KICKS ASS!!!).... And, if I wanna see prisoners kiss, I'll rent "Chained Heat"... Hell, at least they're all women there... :D

BTW.... you're a limp-wristed limey.. or something..

Oz was great--now just watch Law and Order--SVU. Half the cast pops up there. You don't realize how good Christopher Meloni (Keller) actually is until you see him outside Oz.

I agree... I think he IS a great actor... And I DO like SVU, although I like regular Law and Order better... But, for whatever reason, every time I watch SVU, I'm just waitin for some random guy to pop out from around a corner and them to start making out...

He's devoting plenty of his "quality time" to it as well.

Personally I like "Law and Order: Secretarial Pool." It's right up there with "CSI: Rancho Cucamonga."
