Google Earth is one of the coolest things Ive ever seen. You have to get in there and play with it to believe everything it will do.

Heres my house from 5000 ft. You can zoom much further in as well. Some of the satelite info is up to 3 years old. I have a pool now.

And from 1400ft

Oh my god, this is amazing. It took me about 15 minutes to get it working, but its worth it. How long has this been around?

MVP, Wigan is between Liverpool and Manchester. If you type Wigan into Google earth it'll go straight there. From where the main red dot for wigan is, I'm in the middle of the green expanse from the dots 11 o'clock position, just to the right of the mysterious black and white blobs.

google earth is relatively new 9a few months?). i love it.

try using it for driving directions when you're going to a new place... it will help you pick up on landmarks and weird roads.
