So what's the verdict of our esteemed poker players on last night's call?

It was really close but the ball bouncing or not is irrelavent. The unmpire blew it by not communiacting. When the ball is in the dirt for strike three the ump is supposed to yell no catch. The ump obviously didnt do that, in fact he made the normal out call. If the ump has done his job, Josh Paul would have flipped the ball to first base and it would have been an easy out. It is always a shame when stuff like this happens. I really could care less who wins, both teams played a good baseball game and to have an umpire mistake be the deciding factor is a playoff game is a shame.
