LOL---I can only assume it was the same as I saw---and yes the commentary was atrocious (Jerry Van Dyke I believe) but I enjoyed it a bit more than you, as I found it a somewhat interesting to NOT see the cards...Overall however, it was a terrible production!!!

i caught the 95 or 96 us poker championship on classic and got sucked in just like you. the only good thing about it was watching hellmuth act like a baby exactly the same as he does now. you would think he might mature a little with age, but nope, he had the chip lead all day and blew off his stack like a matusow blow up, it was great

Yeah that one was on in succession right after the 95 WSOP but I couldn't watch anymore so I turend it off. That would have been interesting to see though, I'm always up for watching hellmuth make an ass of himself.
