Amazing hand!

Postby Felonius_Monk » Mon Oct 24, 2005 5:20 pm

Wow, been playing online a while and it's the first time i've been involved in one of these...

Pretty amazing for a couple of things:

1) A horrible situation turned into a VERY profitable one (see end of hand history)

2) The absolute ultimate bad beat possible pretty much (not counting str8 flush over str8 flush)

3) Runner-runner to make the aces, after nothing on the flop!

4) I've had a horrible day, got stacked again and again at stars and crypto, and felt i've played fine (for once; usually there's at least the odd mistake when i have a horror run). Was about 600 down after being 300 up at one point, and then this hand, the worst beat of them all, proved my salvation!

5) I had quad aces and didn't get stacked. I rule.

how did you not reraise him on the river? Did you have him pegged for a royal that strongly? What about quad T's?

Interpoker, a Cryptologic site.

I think it's quite cool you can tell which sites people are playing on by whether they get $ or £ bonuses for the bad beat.
