Playing Weak Aces v Pre-Flop Raises

Postby EscapePlan9 » Wed Oct 26, 2005 1:17 am

I learned this line from a 2+2 post (), and I like it a lot. Let him bet his QQ or whatever on the flop and turn, then donk the river. I'm not claiming this hand is the perfect example, but you get the general idea.

Absolute Poker 1/2 Hold'em (4 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [5s], [As].
2 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) [4c], [Ah], [Tc] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4 BB) [Th] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (6 BB) [7s] (2 players)
Hero bets, BB folds.

Final Pot: 7 BB
