Up and down.. Yeah, but more up than down recently, 'part from a two reboots I noticed yesterday.

Ah, the joys of shared hosting.. At our previous location we a share of a wholly-owned server and there weren't many things on it, so that was great for performance.

Interestingly, when I do something processor or IO intensive on this server (like rebuild a database or gzip an image of the site) BTP does slow down noticably. I guess I must be affecting other sites, too?

I would hope that shared hosting setups partition CPU usage so that one site doesn't starve another of cycles, but I haven't really looked into it.
